The tears flowed freely as Canada's war dead were honored at a ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of the allied invasion of Normandy. Several hundred Canadian vets turned out for the event, held beside Juno Beach in a town the Canadians liberated. Prime Minister Jean Chretien was full of emotion as he paid tribute.
