Canadians who got hepatitis C from tainted blood between 1986 and 1990 got a step closer to being compensated. Details of a billion dollar federal-provincial package were given to a judge in Toronto on June 15. Victims lawyer Harvey Strosberg said they could get up to a quarter of a million dollars.
