Police described it as a miracle. A Langley, BC teenager was recovering in hospital on May 9th after apparently spending more than a week trapped in his wrecked car in the Cariboo. Corporal Garry Begg said 19-year-old Joe Spring was found alive after an RCMP helicopter spotted his sports car off the side of Highway 97, north of Williams Lake. (Begg said Spring was semi-conscious and partially delirious when he was found.)
