After capping his 22-season career with a Stanley Cup, Colorado defenseman Ray Bourque announced his retirement on June 26th. Bourque was a five-time Norris Trophy winner, and retired as the NHL's all-time leading scorer among defensemen. Bourque told a Denver news conference it had been quite a career, but it was time to hang up his skates.
