Blues great Richard "King Biscuit Boy" Newell, one of the world's foremost harmonica players, died. He was 59. His friend, Ronnie Hawkins, said Newell passed away January 5th in his sleep in his Hamilton home. Hawkins says he nicknamed Newell King Biscuit Boy after an Arkansas radio program called the King Biscuit Boy Flour Hour that featured harmonica player Sonny Boy Williamson.
