Ontario Provincial Police charged 60 people in a province-wide investigation into online child exploitation. OPP Chief Superintendent Don Bell said the creation and distribution of images of child sexual abuse, the luring of young people by predators, and the proliferation of Internet sites were major concerns to police worldwide. (Those charged ranged in age from teenagers to 63-years old. Police said drugs and prohibited weapons were seized in the raids and 14 child victims were identified during the investigation.)
