Something went terribly wrong for a paint crew working beneath the Garden City Skyway in St. Catharines, Ontario the morning of June 8th. Witness Monique Wilson said the scaffolding the men were working on collapsed. (Four workers were killed. Of the seven men who were rescued, five were plucked from the edge of the bridge by a crane, but not before they spent a harrowing hour clinging to a ledge 30 to 45 centimeters wide.)
