A Canadian was among a handful of survivors from a fiery plane crash in southern Thailand September 16th. In an exclusive hospital bed interview with The Canadian Press, Mildred Anne Furlong from Prince George, BC described how she put her head between her legs as the plane went down and then looked up to see a wall of fire racing to her seat. (At least 88 people died when the One-Two-Go Airlines flight crashed while trying to land in heavy rain.)
